Freshwater pearls should be stored and handled carefully before production, resale, or customer delivery. Keep pearls away from perfume, chemicals, strong sunlight, high humidity, and rough surfaces that can scratch nacre.

Store loose pearls, pearl strands, matched pairs, and finished pearl jewelry in soft pouches, lined trays, or separated packaging. Avoid mixing pearls with hard metal findings, stones, or tools during transport.
